Mission
The Mission of EdYouNet is Empowerment Through Education, providing those underserved populations of students with a web-based format of fundamental educational subjects to supplement and reinforce school curriculum.
Material is organized by grade and subject with each module including animation/videos, activities/puzzles, songs, and feedback/incentives. Students remain engaged through relatable characters, adventures and activities. Students’ imaginations are captured. Students’ curiosity is encouraged. The result is increased competence, confidence and self-esteem.
EdYouNet’s vision is to level the playing field, placing the underserved students on par with required grade-level standards.
As all of you know due your expressed interest in our endeavor, EdYouNet’s long-term goal is to provide equity in education across diversity, as defined by ethnicity and socio-economic status. This will be provided through daycare programs, church after school programs, service organizations, and community/business organizations.
